COLIN SCHARFF (he/him)
Campaign Strategist
Colin became interested in politics after pursuing an American History education. But with dramatic history happening in real time he decided he'd rather get involved, and received a degree in Political Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
While at school, Colin interned for the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation and Congressman Mike Levin's successful first campaign. After graduating, Colin co-founded the group Carlsbad Volunteer Leaders with City Councilmember Teresa Acosta to help vulnerable communities during the COVID pandemic and beyond.
Colin participated in the Boy Scouts of America, (Scouting USA), for more than a decade, earning the rank of Eagle Scout. He believes environmental protection is the battle of our generation.
Colin is passionate about housing affordability, universal healthcare, and Star Wars, and is more than willing to talk at length about all three.
